Animal Crossing amiibo cards are really fun and made to withstand alot of handling. I have a few packs of the cards and have never received a double. They scan to the WiiU gamepad and 3DS console very easily and quickly. I also have the amiibo adapter for an older 3DS console and it scans very quickly to that device as well. The pictures of each villager is very well done and the colors are beautiful. They are easy to read and not only have the characters name on the card but also its number and whether it is a rock, paper, or scissors. The latter corresponds to some minigames in amiibo Festival for the WiiU. These series 1 cards are very nice and I'm already looking forward to series 2 cards releasing in January 2016. Overall these cards are great for collecting along with a wonderful functional experience. Nintendo did a great job with these cards.

I don't know how I missed that when ordering but the cards are the Japanese version. It doesn't change a thing to use them (they work great at Harvey's or for the HHP dlc), but I don't have their English name written on it. Fortunately, it was easy identifying them using the nintendo amiibo collection website.Also, cards are normally around 6-7$ per pack of 4, I paid way too much for them (18.99$). After my purchase, I saw there was an inferior price. I would advise people to check for the different sellers before placing the purchase to get the best deal.Overall, I'm happy with them as I try to build a collection.

The cards I recieved were not the Japanese release, they were just the regular release with English writing and info about the newest dlc. The cards a are legit, but I was hoping to get a pack with Japanese writing like in the picture.

These are nice cards, can't wait until Happy Home Designer comes out in English!! (September 25 :D) Don't worry if they are Japanese, they will still work on an English Nintendo system. (NFC Reader/Writer is needed for 3DS/2DS). There are 3 in a pack, two villagers and one special character. Each card has the villager's name, birthday, dice number, rock/paper/scissors, and card number. I got Annalisa, Bonbon, and Sable Able, and already have another pack on order. Great product!

I didn't realize it at the time, but these were the Japanese version of the cards. They arrived fine and undamaged, but I did already own every card but one that I ordered. Japanese packs only come with 3 cards, so buyer beware unless you are in search of Japanese cards.
