I purchased this for my husband because he really liked the same jacket I purchased for myself over a year ago. Great jacket! Very light yet warm. I love that it’s so compatible and I use it in layering when doing outdoor activities. Highly recommend!

I'm giving this garment F*I*V*E* S*T*A*R*S* because it is exactly what I expected after researching product information online. I am slender (5' 11''/170 lbs) and ordered size large because I prefer a roomier fit and sleeves that accommodate my long arms. It's abnormally warm and sunny here in San Antonio, TX at the end of December, so I can't say speak to a temperature rating. I imagine the jacket will be quite warm enough for temperatures down into the 30s, certainly with layering. The tasteful olive-green color is a nice departure from my usual black or red color selections. Future design improvements could include zippered outside pockets and draw strings for the hood and waist. All in all, a highly recommended buy.UPDATE: Temperatures here dropped below freezing overnight after Christmas. This jacket kept me warm over a tee-shirt. With layering, I imagine it will keep the wearer comfortable into the teens.
