I'm giving these 5 stars on the basis of the value, not the straight quality. I can't buy the lumber for the price of these. They are great value. But they need cushions for prolonged sitting.

I purchased the All Things Cedar teak folding chairs ($197/pair) and similar ones made by Bare Decor, called golden teak wood folding chairs ($149/pair). The photo shows them side by side, with the Bare Decor on the left. The chairs are virtually identical, except the Bare Decor are a bit red in color, while the All Things Cedar version is more golden and has a brass logo tag on the back. The gluing and finish on the Bare Decor are a bit superior, and I rather like the red color. The All Things Cedar had a color more in line with other teak pieces I have seen. Despite being better packaged in two layers of boxes, the All Things Cedar chairs had several minor surface abrasions. I am pleased with both, but like the idea of spending $149 rather than $197.These chairs are comfortable, easy to carry, and good looking.Warning, these chairs slide open easily (good), but that presents a punching hazard for small children. They are ok for kids once unfolded.
