Always likes this setup for my analog quads and planes. You can get out about 4-5 km before breakup and then it’s still not bad

Bought this being nervous thinking it would be a headache but I was wrong, the simplest thing. Using as an fpv for a rc plane, off a 9v rechargeable battery, from full to starting to drain I got 17 minutes of camera time (till it starts getting fuzzy from low voltage)

VERY VERY Disappointed!! The VTX is ok, but not great (It’s 600mw and my 200mw quads go farther) and the camera didn’t work. I contacted the seller and they requested video, how do you provide video for a camera that doesn’t work? All I wanted was a working Camera. I had already installed the VTX in my Quad and used a camera from another quad I don’t use much, so it’s not worth the hassle of returning it. But I’m out a camera now. BTW the camera did work initially but quit before the 1st flight, so yes I was smart enough to text before installing.It’s just not worth saving a few bucks when in the end you have to throw it away and buy a good one anyway.

Works very well, but the transmitter gets incredibly hot in operation, so longevity is a question..

I bought two of these thinking the first one might have been damaged in transport. Tried to hook it up to 9v battery, nothing. I tried 1S Lipo, nothing.

TL;DR: Setup worked when I powered it with 12 Volts (minimum for camera seems to be 5, minimum for VTX seems to be 7)There was I believe one or two people in the comments complaining about the LEDs on the VTX not turning on and there being an annoying noise. I had this same issue too when I supplied power via a 9V battery. The VTX didn't seem to properly function and I couldn't change channels and bands... HOWEVERDuring my troubleshooting process I questioned whether it was an issue regarding sufficient voltage. This time I supplied the VTX/Camera with 12V. It worked. The LEDs on the VTX turned on and I configured the frequency. The moment I turned on my FPV monitor the setup worked.

This needs at least 7v not 5v. Will not run off of my pwm receiver. I had to add an extra 2s lipo to power it up.

RP-SMA Antenna! Would have been nice to see that in the picture before I bought the wrong type. Seems to work ok so far, doesn't get too warm as long as you have some airflow to it. Camera connector to board harness is NOT the same on both sides (socket has beveled corners), but will connect if you force it a little. Seems to sip power nicely on a 2S. Difficult to find an elegant way to mount it, there are an offset pair of (3mm?) holes, but the board is double-sided so you need standoffs. No rear cover on the camera, minus 2 stars for that and the other small issues. You get what you pay for, seems to work for what it is, cheap way to see if it's something you want to get into.
