This filter is nicely made with quality materials. It is simple, effective, and light years ahead of the filter that came with the diesel heater. A great addition to my Vevor Diesel Heaters. Will purchase again.

I guess it depends on the exact make of your parking heater. I have a webasto stc airtop and it has whatever originally came with it that the previous owners installed. Anyways, the muffler fits in the pipe, albeit very snuggly. As far as muffling the sound? It makes a difference yes, but its not huge. I Would say it dulls the normal jet engine noise you are probably used to.

Quick slide on and clamp down install with the included gear clamp. Large metal mesh screen and holds a range of air filters.I would be wary to use on the exhaust side of things for a silencer/resonator/muffler, but for a filter holder it does the job as expected.Clean, no assembly cut offs left behind, decent little cage.
