I put a lot of electronics from yard and estate sales. We can't always test items because of missing power cords and AC adapters. This universal AC Adapter is a game changer for me. The plugs that it comes with means you can virtually fit any AC adapter socket. The ability to dial up and down the voltage allows you to test a wide range of electronics. I usually use 6V to 12V range, works great no issues. Just make sure you dial the right voltage BEFORE plugging it into your device.

Purchased the 120W (24V 5A) version for $32.98 CAD (including $3 coupon) in February 2024.First off, the brand is not the same as the listing. Instead of Wefomey, it is HOUHUI. Does it matter? Maybe, who really knows.Secondly, the description lists a 3-24V adjustable range, however on the device it shows 4-24V instead. When the voltage is dialed to its lowest setting, it reads 3.20V.Other than these discrepancies, the device works well.To clarify some of the adapters and sizes, the permanent plug (male) is 5.5x2.5mm, and due its design allows for both 5.5x2.5 and 5.5x2.1 jacks (female) to be connected. All of the other adapters' jack (female) ends are 5.5x2.1mm.When using at less than 10V, it will display 2 decimal points (eg. 4.45 or 8.97V). Once above 10V, it will only show 1 decimal point (eg. 12.3 or 19.9V).When using a multimeter to test for its accuracy, when below 10V, the measured voltage can vary as much as 0.1V from what is displayed. When measuring above 10V, the measured voltage reads as much as 0.2V higher. It is possible to slightly move the adjuster dial without causing the voltage display to change, but the actual measured voltage will change.Currently using it to charge a battery that has a low cutoff voltage of 11.9V. The original charger it came with is a fixed 12V 5A charger, but the voltage drop when connected causes it to go below 11.9V and stop charging the battery. With this device, I can set a voltage slightly above 12V so that it accounts for voltage drop, and stays above 12V when charging the battery.

I needed an 8.4V AC adapter to test an old video camera I was working on. I set the voltage on the power supply and everything was working perfect until the power supply randomly spiked the voltage (on its own) to 30 volts and then 24 volts. This made the camera "pop" and never turn on again. Disappointing and unsafe.

It works fine and the tips work well,but i would highly recommend that if your not experienced with electronics that you give this a miss, the voltage control is difficult to actually set to the exact level you need and this could very easily lead to something being damaged beyond repair

Handy to have on hand as everything today seems to need an exterior power brick to work.......The benefit of the variable power supply is simple and will cover most of your power supply needs. While there are some power supplies that operate outside the 4V to 24V range, just make sure to follow and stay with in the intended power supply specs that your are substituting for.It won't replace every supply in your house, but it's a great emergency back up for most....Recommended

This is a really good, well made power supply. You can dial in the exact voltage you need. It has a nice readable display that is plenty bright. Great product.

Charger worked great! Adjustability of voltage is great but fine tuning the voltage was a little tricky. If this had two knobs , one for large adjustments and the other knob for fine tune this thing would be super awesome! Otherwise, voltage displayed is only off by .2 but that works for me. Better to be under than over by and risk destroying the connected item. The only other thing with the multitude of connectors. No handy bag or case to store it in. I can definitely see myself misplacing it in the future.

Works good but use with caution. You could easily and instantly damage expensive electronics because voltage is variable and it's easy to accidentally change with a light touch of the control knob. I recommend using a meter to confirm the voltage before plugging anything in and then carefully put the control in a place where it will not fall or be disturbed.
