I was pleasantly surprised by how well this tool works! I did some tests to see how strongly the inserts stayed in place and I was amazed! This is a must have kit item for DIYers like myself. I use a temp of 10C higher than the printing temp of the filament and I bury the insert just below the surface.

Great for uses around the house and the included kit is great. No idea why the tip continuously bends but it came with a replacement

The soldering iron did not work straight out of the box. The rest of the kit was fine. The inserts go in perfectly when using a soldering iron that actually works.
