This is a great bus bar for experimentation, but I don’t think I would use it for proper permanent installations. The problem is the brass. It is not the best when it comes to electrical applications. That being said the quality is good.It is well made and will last. There are pilot holes in the unit so you can easily mount it to your control board, etc. You will need to supply the screws as it only comes with 16 ring terminal connectors, eight red and eight blue. The base is good quality glass and fibre quality so there is no chance of electrical cross over. You get eight connections which are a great amount for average experimentation.At a price of just under $20 I would say go for it. You won’t be let down.

I got this for my solar setup and pretty happy with the quality of this bus bar. The dual row independent brass bus bar was exactly what I needed. It allowed me to connect my battery, charger, charge controller, and inverter, and has room for expansion. I’m fairly new to solar and I’ve recently found out that brass is not as good a conductor as copper, and might be a problem with voltage drop. My cables are mostly less than 12” so it will do for now but you might want to consider that if you are looking to use it for the same purpose as me.

One screw came apart when i tried to tighten it with a small screwdriver.

This is a high quality power distribution bus bar. It is rated at 60A and has two premium brass connection bars. Each bar has six screw posts and the bars are mounted to a black plastic insulating plate. The screw posts are brass 8-32x1/4". The plate has several pre-drilled holes for mounting hardware (not included). The bar aslo comes with 12 eyelet crimp connectors. The bus bar makes your wiring job neat, organized and safe.Would recommend this to anyone.

I'm using mine as a simple DC power bus for some electrical prototyping and experimentation. Works well. Good insulation keeping the two bars isolated. The included crimp-on terminal connectors came in handy too. Great little bus bar.
