I wanted to improve my "Near-Field" system used with my Linux PC (Near-Field is what we used to do when we cranked up our boomboxes and sat a few feet away from them). I bought the 5.25" version so they would fit under my monitor laying on their side. I got the highly rated Aiyima T9 to drive them and it's a good match. The T9 has way more power than needed but sounds good when cranked up. The Pyle speakers can get pretty loud before distorting with this amp and the T9 could damage them.Bass response is good and the Pyles try hard to get down below 65 Hz. You can barely hear a 50 Hz tone but overall the bass is good enough for me. I like the tweeters also because they aren't harsh to my ears. This is about the minimum you can pay for this size speaker and get decent sound. More expensive speakers would sound better of course but for watching videos, this setup is pretty cost effective and can surprise the listener at times.

I bought them for my home office looking for a cheap product, it Is really outstanding, the sound Is great, great bass , the design Is nice, Pyle Is a great brand

I needed a decent not uberly expensive speakers for my Surround sound set up. I used to have in the wall and ceiling speakers at my old home. The new one is not going to get them. But, I am slowly rebuilding my set up. Some decent stands and these Nice Pyle speakers fit the bill perfectly. They sound great and do a fantastic job for the back set of a surround set up.

I especially liked the quality of that deep sweet bass especially when going with a Pyle system entire very boss !
