No need to pay fifty dollars or so for a bulky transformer-style adapter compatible with the whole world that weights a pound and falls off the wall together with the wall plug. These tiny adaptors can be thrown in a backpack pocket - virtually no added weight and no bulk, which is essential for any travel.

For $9 I paid for 4 of these I would easily buy again.I broke one and I think it broke a little too easy.. but at that price I don’t really care. I didn’t have any issues with the other ones. They fit snugly in the plug and does the job. Much better getting these then paying $15 or more for just one adaptor.

It does the job esp if you already have your voltage converter. However, the price is steep because typically these plugs would go for about 50cents to a dollar each. But again, you pay for the need

Great for your devices that are auto-voltage. Takes your North American plug and converts it to European. Perfect for most switching power supplies, such as laptop or cellphone chargers. These will typically have 100-250VAC 50/60Hz stamped on them. This will work with Hair dryers, curling and flat irons, but ONLY if they are auto voltage or have the voltage switch, in this case, switch them to 240. They seem sturdy and held up in 4 hotels and two countries. Buy with confidence, just read your equipment before using to ensure it is compatible with the voltage overseas.

These little guys were inexpensive and worked great for all my stuff in Italy. I even used it on the airplane which had plugs that fit both because the outlet was loose for American plugs and it would slip to disconnected until I used this adapter.
