This extension cord is exactly what I needed. A short extension for my coffee maker. Does the trick!

This small extension cord is mostly as advertised. It has a UL listed cord with 16AWG conductors and an SJT VW-1 (great for indoor use) and a flat plug.16-gauge conductors would be good enough for most typical uses, but the flat plug is only rated to 10 Amp at 125V (realistically about 1200W) so I would avoid heavier loads. Hope this helps!!

Perfect fit for my purpose as it plugs into an awkward place and now joins to a 3 ft cord. Also like the white colour as it blends in well to my walls. Very happy with purchase.

Good quality for residential use on 15amp circuits.Flat plugs are a desirable space-saving feature for safer use behind furniture.

Great extensions for when you need a robust but flat connection at the wall but need a large three-prong plug to go into it. We use them for our espresso maker and grinder which both have think cables and plugs that would stick straight out into the room and take up valuable space. It keeps the cables nice and tidy.

Well, there isn't much to say about these 3-prong power extension cords except they appear well made for the most part and work as expected (well, that's not a difficult thing to do); however, it does NOT have safety cert for either plugs and that's not acceptable to me. They do have UL cert for the cord itself though. In comparison to others that I've come across (i.e. Etekcity for one) that has either CSA, ETL, or UL for all 3 components (2x plugs and cord) that cost about half of these, these extension cords do not live up to my expectation of what good quality and safety cords are and I'm rather disappointed to say the least. I'm even willing to turn a blind eye if at least ONE of the plugs has a safety cert but certainly not for both.≡ Safety note (from official gov sites)✔ Electrical products that plug into an electrical outlet must meet Canadian national safety standards and be certified by an accredited certification body.✔ Always check for certification marks, such as CSA, cUL, or cETL, before purchasing electrical products that plug into an electrical outlet. These marks indicate that the products are assessed and conform to the required Canadian national safety standard.✔ Do not buy or use electrical products that plug into an electrical outlet without a certification mark. While some people would argue that these safety certifications means little or even nothing because there are products out there with safety cert that fail to perform while others without it have performed better in comparison. I'd say that's fallaciously misguided simply because exceptions are never to be used as supportive arguments to statements that are inherently untrue.Do you stop using seatbelts because someone died of accidents while wearing one? Is driver's license unnecessary because more accidents are caused by those with valid licenses than not? There are countless examples I could think of but most importantly is the undisputed fact that it is the Canadian law and it's there to minimize harm and not necessarily eliminate it. If the idea of certifications (safety or otherwise) are truly useless, then our civilization would crumble. In either case, I'd choose and support products with any of the 3 certs mentioned above any day over products that have none. The choice is of course yours, as always.≡ ValueAll things considered, these are not the power extension cords that I expect 'em to be and they are pricey at $19 (for a pack of 5) for what they don't provide (safety cert). Your mileage might vary.
