The berrings are loud and loose from pachaging, I like the cup of it and the way it was designed but a fail for quality... :-(

Well what a waste of time and money, first off is when you turn the live end and feel how rough the bearings are they must be square ones definitely not round it grinds and is gritty in your hands so god help if you ever put this deathtrap in your lathe the live end doesn't even run true so emagine you just mounting a big log like 10-12" diamiter and then run this live headstock at the other end what's it is soposed to do is stop the piece vibrating but this one has more play in the bearings I can wiggle the live head a good 2-3"mm sideways so at about 800-1000rpm can you imagine the vibration and I'd bet it would snap and break off almost straight away so story is don't buy this rubbish and dangerous item
