I've used these motors in a variety of projects. While not the most torquey motors, they sure do come in a variety of RPMs that make it easy to throw into just about any project without having to design your own gear train

Drop in replacement motor for a Farmlite automatic chicken door. I had to solder the wires from the old motor onto this one, but it fit perfectly. 4mm shaft, with a flat on the shaft. I got the 5rpm version. It's noticeably slower than the original. 10rpm is probably the right speed.I don't know about longevity yet, but I'm glad to have my door working again.

I ordered the 500 RPM but receive the 400 RPM. Not a big difference but the rpm was to slow for my application
