The panels of these cake/baker boxes are medium thickness, but once put together, forms a very sturdy box structure, so don't need to worry about it collapsing with your important cake inside. The large clear plastic viewing panel on top is also a plus.

Good for taking a larger cake to a party or other event, the flat-packed boxes are straightforward to make up, just folding and tucking in flaps. Cake boards (round) are included in the pack, to make it easier to lift the cake out of the box (although the sides could be flattened again to make this easy too). A selection of square boards as well as round would give a bit more versatility for the type of cake you are packaging, but these could be purchased separately if needed. The boxes make up to a good height for a taller cake or a 2 tier, but check the height of your cake and the box first to make sure this will work. The lids have a handy clear panel so the cake can be seen without having to remove the lid before needed, good if you need to check there has been no damage in transit.Essential for professional cake makers and handy for hobby bakers like myself too.

If you're a baker, these boxes are really handy for carrying cakes. First of all you get 10 round cake boards made of corrugated brown cardboard covered on the top with a white wipeable sheet. As to the boxes, they come in one piece entirely flat packed and have a large window (with scalloped edge) on top (courtesy of some transparent PVC film) so everyone can see what's inside. The boxes are easy to shape as the card they're made of has been pre-scored in all the appropriate places. (That said I initially got it wrong on the sides as the tabs from the lid need to slide into the slots on the outside.) My estimate is that the card is 350gsm. It feels really smooth on the outside as it's got some kind of a light coating giving it a bit of a sheen too. Your cake will look professional in these boxes and stand out on a white background. The 10 boxes and boards are packed under a cellophane film. Made in China.

Ich habe die Boxen für eine Geburtstagstorte und ein paar kleinere Kuchen bestellt. Die Größe ist ideal für mittlere bis größere Kuchen, und das Sichtfenster macht wirklich was her – gerade wenn man die Torte verschenken möchte. Die mitgelieferten Cake Boards sind praktisch und stabil genug für leichtere Kuchen.Ein kleiner Nachteil: Das Material der Boxen könnte etwas stabiler sein. Wenn man eine schwerere Torte transportiert, sollte man vorsichtig sein und die Box eventuell zusätzlich stützen. Für normale Kuchen und Gebäck aber absolut ausreichend.Insgesamt ein gutes Set für den Preis – praktisch, einfach zusammenzubauen und optisch ansprechend. Ich werde es wieder kaufen, aber für richtig schwere Torten würde ich nach einer stabileren Alternative suchen.
