These are great clips to use to secure small items like the bird cage door or chicken wire on the fence. I've used them on my dog ID tags for easy swap on his collar so, I don't have to remove the ring each time when I want to swap out from a chock collar to a normal one. I even use them to hold cell phone charging wires together when it's too long or keep them from dragging on the ground so the pets don't chew on the wires.

These clips were exactly what we needed to keep our gazebo curtain secure. It withstood gusts id 60 km winds. We used these with yellow tarp clips that we also bought on Amazon

These didn’t work at all once there was pressure put on them the hook opened up. Not suitable for my application. I was using them for dog pens

I just received them today, so I cannot speak to long experience with this product. But on a first impression basis, the product is robust and has a good quality feel to it. The spring loaded clasp is firm. Seems more than adequate for my camera strap. I certainly feel confident hanging my Sony a7R IVA which is about 5k worth of equipment once you factor in the G Master lens to it, lol.

We recently got a puppy. We set up a metal "playpen" for her in the yard. I decided to cut the 16-panel unit into single units, so I could set up playpens of various sizes as needed. I tried some snap hooks from the local big box to serve as connectors. They worked, but I'm an old geezer now so the snaps were too hard to open. I got these and bingo, I can open them with no problem. I rarely give five stars because I reserve them for products that go above and beyond expectations, sort of like a Medal of Honor for hardware. But I did five stars for these little gadgets because they really solved a problem for me, and they were very inexpensive.
