Long story short, window and door contractors left me with only with inches of wire from existing home security sensors. These were delivered next day and were super easy to install. Love the fact they have 6" of wire to fish through the jambs and splice into previous wire. So far, all sensors work.

One window sensor in old system failed. Replaced with one from package, works, easy install. Only been a couple of days, working well so far. Reasons for not giving five stars, would be convenient to have an option to purchase 1-5 sensors instead of ten. If it lasts a couple years probably a five star product.

Nothing worst than installing these and after having to rip open your wall because they didn't work and they are defective. I bought 3 packages and 3 in each package were defective. Test them before you install them!!!

Great product and very reasonably priced... the only issue I had was that 2 of sensors did not work. I checked them with a multi-meter for both continuity and resistance (ohms) and 2 were faulty.That said, no complaints, I only needed 6 for my project and the price was reasonable for what I received.

I needed a new contact for a replacement casement window. The gap between the window frame and the moving casement was too large approx .5” for the co tact to close when the window was shut. Even extending the casement side of the contact out as far it could go was insufficient. I ended up having to glue a small disk super magnet on the casement side for the contact to close when the window is shut. Would be helpful to have some specs in the product description on how large a gap can be spanned by the contact.
