My husband uses these for his HOscale train set. He says they work great for joining wire(s).

The title of the product states that these are COPPER. They are indeed fully brass.I have no issues pushing 200a @ 24vdc through these. At least, that's what I'm calculating. They don't warm to the touch. They're used for a large capacitor bank... So, that 200a is transient at best (and only while charging). The screws all fit perfectly. The two outside positions in each bar are a slightly larger diameter to accommodate 0g cabling. I still recommend soldering your extra large gauge cable to the bar directly. Which is easy using borax, MAP, and regular rosin core electrical solder. There are 2 6-32 mounting screw threads on the bottom, which accept nylon screws nicely. But they're brass. Not copper. With less than half the ampacity of copper. I've even electroplated these in copper, easily. But they're just not copper.

fit and finish of the terminal set is good and appears to be brass with steel screws however the brass block is slightly magnetic so I am not sure of the brass vs steel content but for its purpose I guess it will be ok

The metal these are made with is a little brittle. We've broken a few now when mounting them.Overall good value despite the brittleness of a few.
